Eleanor Woloy, M.D., a psychiatrist, saw patients in an office where her dog was usually also present. In this book, Dr. Woloy explores the unique and healing relationship between humans and dogs. Drawing on her clinical experience in Jungian psychology, she sees a deep connection between humans and dogs, examining the images of dogs appearing in dreams through a feminine lens.
