The Jungian Sandplay therapy method is becoming increasingly popular in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Recently, Russian-speaking colleagues have had more opportunities to receive training, supervision, and personal sandplay therapy from certified ISST members. However, many questions, untouched theoretical topics, and practical discussions remain. Drawing on the international experience of colleagues from other countries, we have created the Russian Journal of Sandplay Therapy, which will cover news in the world of Sandplay, publish theoretical articles by Russian and international authors, works on symbolic research, interviews and experiences of global experts, and a review of professional literature on the theory and practice of Dora Kalff's method. The journal's mission is to share accumulated international and Russian experience with colleagues throughout the Russian-speaking world. This journal will be of interest not only to those who practice the Kalffian approach to Sandplay therapy but also to those using other modifications of the method, as well as to anyone who wants to develop their symbolic thinking and better understand their own inner world and the inner world of their clients. The journal is published twice a year. The journal is published with the support of the American Journal of Sandplay Therapy (JST) and the International Society of Sandplay Therapy (ISST).
