The original English version of this book can be purchased here . This work offers an overview of the hidden paths of Germanic mythology within the context of Indo-European cultures. Particular attention is paid to the Germanic worldview, the creation of the world, the dawn of the gods, and the psychological role of some of the most significant gods and goddesses. The book focuses on the relationship between Germanic mythology, Christianity, and humanistic education. The author demonstrates that Germanic mythology was distinguished by a balanced worldview, shaped by the balance of patriarchal and matricentric gods and goddesses, and that some of the most significant values of our time, such as democracy, individual rights, and women's rights, were laid down and instilled in us by the Scandinavians. The author points out the significant consequences of ignoring, demonizing, rejecting, and suppressing archetypal ideas about the original Germanic culture, which was and still is often considered barbaric and primitive. Neglect, demonization, rejection, and suppression become the daggers that pierce the resilience, diversity, and well-being of our communities. The book describes how Odin's fundamental act of divination, which involved hanging himself voluntarily on the World Tree, opened humanity to the collective unconscious and the autonomization of the ego. Odin is presented as the archetype of a therapist following the psychodynamic tradition. The book concludes with a call for increased archetypal literacy, which the author considers a roadmap to peace.
