About Drago's Seminar: Addiction – Individuation Experienced in Projection. In this seminar, we will build on the premise that the strongest human instinct is the drive for individuation. We will define addiction as any more or less compulsive action that helps us establish a connection with an object or subjective state on which we depend. Based on these assumptions, we will examine addiction as an unconscious attempt at individuation, using examples from mythology, ethnology, religion, politics, human relations, and psychopathology.
