About Drago's seminar. Dependency is an individuation experienced in projection. In this seminar we will be based on the assumption that the strongest human instinct is the desire for individuation. And addiction we define as any more or less compulsive action that helps to establish a connection with the object or subjective state on which we depend. Based on these assumptions, we will consider addiction as an unconscious attempt at individuation, using examples from the fields of mythology, ethnology, religion, politics, human relations, and psychopathology.

To help us in this will be the ideas of Freud, Klein and Winnicott, Zoya's ideas about addictions as unsuccessful attempts at initiation, images from the pre-heroic stages of development of consciousness according to Neumann, the work of Marion Woodman and, of course, Nathan Schwartz Salant's ideas about the transformation of the narcissistic structure.
