Curriculum "Introduction to Group Therapy".
A short course (5 meetings of 3 astronomical hours each) that helps you navigate group work during seminars, etc. This course does not provide certification and does not grant the right to practice group analysis or group therapy.
Classes include theory, practice, discussion of gained experience and examples.
The aim of the course is to introduce the principles of group therapy.
1st meeting
History and benefits of group therapy.
Types of group therapy.
Group selection.
Indications for group therapy.
Mechanisms that work most effectively in a group.
II meeting
Difficulties arising in a group.
Styles of aggressive behavior in a group.
Roles in the group.
III meeting
Group dynamics.
Stages of group development.
Group management styles.
IV meeting
Shadow and group.
Projections onto the presenter.
The shadow of the group (based on materials by Yu.V. Vlasova).
V meeting
Transference, countertransference in a group.
Criteria of group effectiveness.
Meeting frequency: once a week. Cost: 2,000 rubles per meeting.
Groups of 4–8 people. If anyone from other cities is interested, I can take one person on Skype. This is a closed group. Passes are paid.
Classes are held in the Aeroport metro area and are scheduled as soon as a group is filled.
